Leanne McDougall

Leanne McDougall is an accomplished leader in risk management and renewable energy, currently serving as Director of the Tasmanian Offshore Wind Energy Project P/L, which focuses on developing an offshore windfarm in Northern Tasmania. As Co-Founder and Chair of Nexsphere, Leanne drives initiatives aimed at achieving Australia’s net-zero emissions target through sustainable energy projects. Leanne has held key positions at Suncorp Bank as Chief Risk Officer, and at various subsidiaries managing significant finance portfolios. Previous roles include General Manager positions at National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank, where Leanne oversaw business and consumer credit risk. Leanne's extensive educational background includes degrees in law and economics from Macquarie University, University of Sydney, and additional leadership training from Harvard Business School.
