Ming Zhang

Ming Zhang currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist and Analyst Lead at Suncorp Group, where responsibilities include co-leading the Technical Delivery Excellence initiative in the data domain, initiating solution design committees, and providing consultation and support to business partners, alongside promoting innovation and coaching junior staff. Previously, Ming worked as a Data Scientist at TRA, focusing on identifying business requirements and creating impactful machine learning models, and co-designed the core calculation engine for the social media listening platform Zavy. Prior roles include Senior Analyst at Vero Insurance New Zealand and Retail Payments Specialist at NZ Post. Ming holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Massey University.
