David Drillien has extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors, currently serving as Stream Lead Core Business for Asteron Life Transition and holding multiple executive roles at Suncorp New Zealand since November 2018. Previously, David was with Asteron Life New Zealand, where significant positions included Executive Manager Life and Executive Manager for Underwriting & Portfolio Management. Prior to that, David worked at National Australia Bank as Head of Product - Retail Insurance and spent nearly a decade at Sovereign, leading marketing, product, and corporate affairs initiatives. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Marketing from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Otago, along with a Certificate of Proficiency in Microeconomics from The London School of Economics.
