Laura Drake

Laura Drake has an extensive legal background, starting as a summer clerk at Simpson Grierson and moving on to become an associate there. Laura later worked as a solicitor at Meredith Connell before returning to Simpson Grierson. Laura then transitioned to Suncorp New Zealand where Laura held the role of a lawyer before becoming the Head of Risk & Compliance at AA Money, a joint venture between Suncorp New Zealand and the New Zealand Automobile Association. Currently, Laura is serving as a Senior Lawyer and Company Secretary at Suncorp New Zealand. Prior to their legal career, Laura also served as a Legal Education Coordinator and Student Volunteer at Dunedin Community Law Centre.
