Bernadette Suarez

Bernadette Suarez serves as the City Councilwoman for the City of Lawndale, where Bernadette holds the distinction of being the first Latina and the youngest individual ever elected to the council. In addition to this role, Bernadette is also a dedicated public official, having served as Mayor Pro Tempore and as an elected City Clerk. Currently, Bernadette is the Senior Closing Manager at Sundae and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the South Bay Cities Council of Governments, representing Lawndale. Previous experience includes working as a Closing Manager at Wedgewood LLC and in property management at Pinnacle Property Management. Bernadette earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from UC Santa Barbara in 2012.
