Sunday Salmon is a delicious, organic community meal, offered at no cost, to our neighbors in Castle Rock who could benefit from a home-cooked meal. 

Our founder, Mary Grothe, has been cooking this meal nearly every Sunday for nearly 10 years! She has opened her home to family and friends for this meal and a year ago, God gave her the vision to turn it into a community meal. 

Starting January 2025, we’re thrilled to invite you to Sunday Salmon, a delicious, organic, gluten and seed-oil-free community restaurant on Wolfensberger & Park Street in Castle Rock, CO.

The restaurant is community-style, with tables seating 10-12 guests. Our goal? To foster connections by seating neighbors together to share family-style wholesome organic meals, good conversation, and a sense of belonging. The restaurant will operate on Sundays for the first half of the year with the intention of opening for dinner service during the week—eventually!

No strings, no costs—just good food, great people, and open hearts.

As we grow:
We offer a free membership program for our neighbors who are in need. Our members are welcome to eat by themselves or with their families, for free. We encourage all our neighbors to dine on Sundays and meet each other! Relationships cause transformation! If you can pay for your meal, great! If you can't, no problem!

During the weekdays, when the facility is not rented out, we will eventually offer cooking and nutrition classes for our members, which double as a meal prep session. We will partner with two local grocery stores that donate excess organic produce and other items. We use those food donations and other purchased groceries for our cooking classes. Each neighbor takes home at least 3 cooked meals for their family for the week.
