Jerome Benedict, SCMP, CSM has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jerome is currently working as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at SNDL Inc. Jerome was previously the Director of Wholesale and Biomass Procurement at The Valens Company from February 2022 to June 2023.

Before that, Jerome worked at Pure Sunfarms as the Director of Wholesale and Business Development from August 2020 to December 2021. During their tenure, they managed a team of 4 and oversaw the sourcing of bulk consumables, partnership collaborations, and the launch of multiple brands and products. Jerome also implemented cost-saving initiatives and acted as the first point of contact for government stakeholders.

Before joining the university, Jerome worked as a Procurement Clerk at Jordans Floor Covering and Interiors from January 2013 to August 2013 and as a District Supervisor at Grenville Management and Printing (IBM Canada Account) from December 2010 to December 2011.

Jerome Benedict, SCMP, CSM has a diverse education history. Jerome obtained a Diploma in Operations Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2010. In 2013, they pursued a degree in Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) from Simon Fraser University, specializing in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management, which they completed in 2016. In the same year, they also obtained the certification of Supply Chain Management Professional from the Supply Chain Management Association.

Jerome furthered their education in 2019 by acquiring a Certificate in Project Management and an Associate Certificate in Agile Leadership, both from the University of British Columbia. Additionally, they earned the Designation of Scrum Master (CSM) from the University of British Columbia in the same year. Furthermore, they hold the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in March 2019.
