C B Kim has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as the CEO and Sr. Director of SunEdison Semiconductor since July 2009, leading global crystal manufacturing excellence. In addition, C B Kim has been a Board Director for SMP since May 2015, representing SunEdison Semiconductor Ltd. Previously, C B Kim held various roles at MEMC LLC from June 1997 to July 2009, including Crystal Technology Transfer Manager and Sr. Crystal R&D Process Developing Scientist. Earlier experience includes General Manager of the Crystal Group at MEMC Korea and roles in GaAs, LED, and Laser Diode development at SamMi and KAIST. C B Kim's career began as a Sr. Engineer in crystal development and analysis at LG Siltron. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Hanyang University.
