Steve Edens

Steve Edens has a strong background in Human Resources, having held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Steve started in 1986 at American Electric Power as an Assistant Human Resources Manager, providing support to approximately 700 employees and retirees. Steve then joined AEP River Operations in 1989, where they managed HR, Employee and Labor Relations, Safety, and Claims Administration for an inland river barge towing operation. During their time at AEP River Operations, they also served as the Human Resources Manager for three operating companies and led due diligence and integration activities for an acquisition.

In 2005, Steve Edens moved to SunEdison Semiconductor, where they took on increasing levels of responsibility. Steve began as a Manager of Human Resources and later became the Director of Global Human Resources, overseeing HR operations on a global scale. In their final role at SunEdison Semiconductor, they served as the Senior Director of Global Human Resource Services, leading a team of 35 professionals to support corporate operations, R&D, and the Solar Materials Business.

Throughout their career, Steve Edens has focused on partnering closely with senior leadership to solve organizational challenges and ensure smooth business operations. Steve has also played a significant role in operational and cultural integration activities, demonstrating their ability to adapt and lead in changing environments.

Steve Edens has pursued graduate studies towards a Masters of Science in Industrial Relations at the WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics. Prior to this, they received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business/Personnel Administration from West Virginia University. Additionally, Steve Edens has completed the OSU Management Leadership Program at The Ohio State University.
