Yoran Kuyper is a Captain at SunExpress Airlines. Trained as an aviation engineer, Yoran graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Aviation from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2011, with a thesis focused on handheld computers in aviation maintenance. After becoming a First Officer in 2013, Yoran was promoted to Captain in 2018 and currently serves as a Safety Management Pilot, where they evaluate safety reports and perform risk analyses. In 2024, Yoran will begin providing simulator training to new and experienced pilots.
