Andy Moon

Co-Founder, Board Director, and former CEO at SunFarmer

Andy Moon has a long and varied work experience. Andy began their career in 2006 as a Consultant and Sustainability + Social Sector Fellow at McKinsey & Company. During their time there, they were recognized as a McKinsey expert on climate change and renewable energy and was a contributing author to the widely cited 2009 report "Pathways to a Low Carbon Economy." In 2009, they joined SunEdison Solar as a Product Development and Project Finance employee, where they worked on a two-person team to structure the company's first solar financing with a major PE investor. In 2019, they worked as an Independent Advisor, working on projects related to finance, venture investing, and advising. In 2020, they were an Entrepreneur in Residence at Carbon180, researching and prototyping ideas related to sustainability in real estate and the built environment. In 2021, they joined Shelf Engine as the Head of Strategic Finance, where they were a member of the Leadership Team and was responsible for financial planning and forecasting, headcount budgeting, and prioritization of customers and products. Finally, in 2022, they co-founded Reunion and is currently serving as the company's CEO.

Andy Moon holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University and has completed Executive Education from Harvard University in Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century as part of the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders program. Andy also attended Y Combinator in the Summer of 2015.
