Simon Schumacher

Simon Schumacher is a senior engineer in alkaline cell development at Sunfire, where they are currently applying their extensive interdisciplinary background in energy science. With a focus on electrochemistry and electrocatalysis, Simon is nearing the completion of their PhD at Universität Duisburg-Essen. Their previous experience includes roles as a scientific associate and student assistant at Universität Duisburg-Essen and as a student assistant at Fraunhofer UMSICHT and Zentrum für BrennstoffzellenTechnik (ZBT) GmbH. Simon's academic journey also features a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science, both obtained from Universität Duisburg-Essen.
