Giulia Biffi

Giulia Biffi's work experience begins in 2011 as a Software Developer Intern at SUPSI, where they worked on developing a computer forensic tool. Giulia then worked as a Helpdesk Technician at GDL Soft Sagl in 2012, providing technical support to customers. In 2014, they were a Software Developer Intern at MeteoSwiss, where they updated and migrated software used by meteorology staff. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Test Analyst Consultant at Whirlpool Corporation, ensuring product quality and testing for functionality and durability. In 2017, they became a Software Analyst and Test Analyst at PPG ITALIA BUSINESS SUPPORT SRL. In 2018, they joined Matternet Inc as a UAS Operation Technician and later became the UAS Remote Pilot in Command. Currently, they are working at Sunflower Labs as a Verification and Validation Engineer, responsible for managing product requirements verification and developing test plans and specifications. Additionally, they have seven years of experience as a freelance Computer and Network Technician.

Giulia Biffi began their education in 2002 at Liceo Artistico G. Ferrari, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Graphic Design in 2008. Giulia then attended USI Università della Svizzera italiana from 2008 to 2010, studying Computer Science. In 2010, they enrolled in the Scuola Professionale Artigianale e Industriale di Locarno and completed a Federal Certification of Proficiency in Information Technology Applications Development from 2010 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Giulia Biffi has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received a Certificate of attendance for Agile and Scrum project management methodologies from Formaconf. In 2020, they obtained a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. In 2021, they acquired an EU Remote Pilot Certificate and an EU competence certificate from RDW. Later, in 2022 and 2023, Giulia obtained UAS - OPS - Professional Operations of Unmanned Aircraft Systems and UAS-AWE - Airworthiness Requirements and Equipment for Unmanned Aircraft Systems certifications respectively from the JAA Training Organisation. Giulia also holds a TOEFL iBT certificate from Eas Milan and has attended an Adobe Training course, receiving a Certificate of attendance for Adobe Captivate from Espero in 2017.
