Michael Croix

Michael Croix has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael is currently serving as a Principal Investigator at the National Science Foundation (NSF) since May 2021. Prior to this, Michael founded and served as the CEO of SunFly Brands, Inc. from April 2016 onwards. At SunFly Brands, they focused on developing UV-sensitive color-changing cosmetic inks for sunscreen application.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Michael served as a Book Author at Inventing On A Budget starting from February 2006. Prior to that, they held the position of President at Lucid Designs from January 2000 to April 2016.

Michael's career began in the military, where they served as a 0331 Machine Gunner in the United States Marine Corps from June 1990 to February 1991. Michael operated various types of machine guns and their support vehicles in direct combat during their time of service. Michael received an honorable discharge from the military.

Michael Croix began their education at Occidental College from 1989 to 1991, where they studied psychology. Michael then attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from an unknown start year to an unknown end year, earning a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Michael later returned to the University of California, Santa Cruz and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in psychology from 1993 to 1995. Finally, Michael pursued a medical education at the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine from 1998 to 2000, although the degree obtained and the specific field of study are not provided.
