Leon Gerard Vandenberg (万 利 民) attended the University of Waterloo from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a B.A.Sc. degree in Systems Design Engineering. Leon Gerard then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Wilfrid Laurier University from 1988 to 1989. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1984, they studied Engineering at Carleton University, earning a B.A.Sc. degree. In 2019, they attended the Creative Destruction Lab's Scale Up Program, focusing on Blockchain & AI. Additionally, in 2004, Leon became a member of the Institute Australian Engineers from Engineers Australia.
