Marc P.

Marc P. has a wide range of work experience in the field of internal audit and compliance. Marc started their career as a SOX Project Manager II at Kaiser Permanente in 2004. From there, they worked as an Internal Audit Manager at 21st Century Insurance, where they were responsible for managing all audits and SOX work for the company. Marc then took on the role of Consultant at Ajilon Finance Solutions before joining Resources Global Professionals as a Project Consultant. At Resources Global Professionals, Marc worked on various projects, including financial and compliance reviews for Tutor-Perini Corporation, audits for Northrop Grumman Corp., and SOX testing for Union Bank of California. Marc then became the Director of Internal Audit at NTS - National Technical Systems before transitioning to an independent consultant role, working with various clients. In 2014, they joined AIG as a Compliance Officer, where they assisted in the development and management of compliance monitoring and testing programs. Most recently, Marc worked at ASGN Incorporated (formerly On Assignment Inc.) as the Senior Director of Internal Audit - Chief Audit Executive, where they transformed the internal audit function and improved relationships with audit committees, senior management, and external auditors. Marc also played a key role in a major finance transformation project. Currently, Marc is the Corporate Audit Director and Chief Audit Executive at Sunkist Growers.

Marc P. attended Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. During the same period, they also studied at California State University, Fullerton and obtained a second BS degree in Accounting. In 2013, Marc obtained a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2005. Marc is also listed as having a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), although the specific date of certification is unknown.
