Avishek Kumar is a seasoned entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in clean energy and technology sectors. As the Co-Founder and CEO of VFlowTech since May 2018, Avishek has focused on developing cost-effective modular vanadium redox flow batteries, leveraging industry-driven research. Current roles include Board Member at TeOra, a biotech startup, and Founding Board Member at Advanced Microgrid Solutions, which aims to revolutionize energy storage. Additionally, Avishek is a Founding Member of Kshamtalaya Foundation, promoting education reform, and Co-Founder and Director at Datakrew, which innovates in IoT and AI. As Founder & Chairman of Sunkonnect Pte Ltd, Avishek provides consulting in renewable energy. Previous positions include Non-Executive Board Member at Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd, and a Manager at REC. Avishek holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore and is pursuing a Certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy from the Yale School of Management.
