Ryan Chapman

Ryan Chapman is an experienced industrial designer and design engineer with a diverse background in product design and team management. Currently serving as the Industrial Designer/Customs Design Lead at Sunlighten since January 2022, Ryan previously held roles including Design Engineer II at Finite Engineering Associates 3D, LLC, where responsibilities included creating mechanical component models and collaborating with clients. Prior experience as a CAD Product Designer at Splintek, Inc. involved product design for injection molding and CNC programming. Ryan's earlier management roles at Leroy's Tavern and Tonic Lounge & Mass St. Pub focused on daily operations and employee training. Ryan's foundational experience includes service in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry/TOW Gunner, with deployment in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design was earned from The University of Kansas.
