Carrie Welch (Matus)

Carrie (Matus) Welch has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Carrie started their career in 2018 as a Guest Service Representative at JW Marriott, where they gained valuable customer service skills. In 2019, they joined Sunline Global, Inc. as a Carrier Sales Manager, responsible for managing carrier relationships. Carrie later transitioned to the role of Domestic Operations Manager, where they oversaw the company's domestic operations. In 2021, Carrie took on the role of Training Manager at Sunline Global, responsible for developing and executing training programs for employees. Currently, they serve as the Director of People at Sunline Global, focused on attracting top driver talent and implementing strategic initiatives for the company's growth and success. Throughout their work experience, Carrie has demonstrated strong leadership, creativity, and expertise in human resources, talent management, and marketing principles.

Carrie (Matus) Welch attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Society. Prior to that, they studied Pre-Dentistry Studies at Kilgore College from 2012 to 2014, earning an Associate of Arts degree.

In addition to their formal education, Carrie obtained certifications in leadership. Carrie completed the "Leadership Foundations" certification at LinkedIn in April 2023, and the "Top 10 Rules for Highly Effective Leadership" certification, also at LinkedIn, in March 2023.
