Strategic Partnerships at SunMedia

Alejandro O. has extensive work experience in the ad-tech industry, starting with their current role at SunMedia, which is now part of EXTE. Alejandro is responsible for strategic partnerships and works with SunMedia, the largest adtech company in Spain and Latin America, specialized in video and content marketing, and Rich Audience, a European programmatic marketplace and rich media innovator.

Prior to their current position, Alejandro served as the VP Latam/US at Rich Audience (now part of EXTE), where they aimed to disrupt digital advertising by specializing in highly creative advertising formats and generating brand impact through engaging user experiences. Alejandro partnered with leading publishers to create rich user experiences and engage their audiences.

Alejandro also worked at SpotX, a video inventory management platform, where they held two roles. As the Multicultural Director, they led the company's efforts to offer programmatic video solutions directly to brands and agencies. Additionally, they served as the Latam Director, managing SpotX's operations in Latin America from 2017 to 2018.

Before joining SpotX, Alejandro worked as the Country Manager for Latam/US at Zoomin.TV, an online video content producer and distributor. Alejandro managed the purchase of premium video inventory and helped the company expand its global deals.

Earlier in their career, Alejandro was a member of the Digital Video Commission at IAB Spain, where they contributed their expertise to the development of digital video advertising. Alejandro also worked as the Country Manager for Spain & Portugal at E-Planning, a full-stack adserver and programmatic hub, where they revolutionized the way publishers and advertisers interacted with their audiences.

Alejandro's work experience also includes a role as a Digital Media Consultant at Sony DADC, a leading end-to-end services provider for the entertainment industry. Alejandro provided world-class digital and physical supply chain solutions to global customers.

At the beginning of their career, Alejandro worked as a Managing Director and Partner at Apset Music S.L., a recording studio and publishing company based in Madrid. Alejandro collaborated with notable clients in the entertainment industry.

Alejandro's career in the technology sector started at Indra, a global consulting and technology company. As a Business Consultant, they played a key role in business development, project management, and assessing IT project opportunities. Alejandro delivered services and managed projects with a focus on reliability, flexibility, and adaptability to customer needs.

Alejandro O. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Later, they pursued an MBA in Economics from IE Business School, completing their studies from 1999 to 2000.
