Alan W. holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, completed in 2020. Alan's professional experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at both the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and Arizona State University, where contributions involved guiding the design of a low-cost robotic vehicle and co-developing a mathematical model of microorganisms. As a Systems Operations Principle Analyst at LUMA Energy, responsibilities included overseeing the execution of systems operations principles and coordinating safety and performance within the Generation organization. Alan further honed skills as a Validation & Reliability Hardware Engineer at Axon, developed a Waveform Direction Finding application during a Senior Design Capstone Project with General Dynamics, and gained internship experience at NASA Ames Research Center, focusing on software development for the Astrobee project. Currently, Alan serves as a PV Codes & Standards Engineer at Sunnova Energy.
