Leandro Dominguez

Leandro Dominguez is a Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at SunnyData since October 2025 and serves as a Lecturer in the Big Data Master program at Universidad ORT Uruguay since March 2025. Previously, Leandro worked as a Senior Data Scientist at PedidosYa, focusing on developing large-scale Machine Learning models, and held Machine Learning Engineer positions at Xmartlabs and Levi Strauss & Co., where expertise in recommender systems and Natural Language Processing was applied. Earlier experience includes developing NLP solutions at Marvik and backend development using Ruby on Rails at Rootstrap. Educational credentials include a degree in Engenharia from Universidad de la República and ongoing studies towards a Master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning at the same institution.
