Heidi Teoh

Heidi Teoh has a wealth of experience in the field of research and development. Heidi began their career at A. E. STALEY MANUFACTURING COMPANY and Kellogg Company as a Consultant in Carbohydrate Chemistry. Heidi then joined General Mills, where they held various roles including Scientist II, Senior Scientist I and II, and Principal Scientist. From 2016 to 2018, Heidi worked at General Mills, Inc. as a Principal Scientist. Heidi then moved to SunOpta, where they held the positions of Sr. Principal R&D Director and Senior Director Research & Development. Currently, Heidi holds the role of Vice President Research and Development at SunOpta.

Heidi Teoh completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Science - Carbohydrate Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1995 to 2000. Later, they pursued MBA Essentials Executive Education in Business Administration and Management at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management starting in 2011.
