Jaap van den Born is currently the Commercial Director EMEA & NA at Lawter, Inc. and has served as the Operating Officer at Harima Chemicals Group Inc. since 2022. Previously, Jaap worked at Nalco Chemical Company from 1992 to 1997 as a Sales Engineer/Account Manager, and held various leadership roles at AkzoNobel and Hexion Specialty Chemicals between 2001 and 2011. Jaap earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Technology from Delft University of Technology, where education commenced in 1984.
