Ben Chates

Ben Chates is an accomplished Regional Sales Manager at Sunrun since May 2014, where notable achievements include recognition as a 2020 Circle of Excellence member and runner-up for Manager of the Year in both 2021 and 2022. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Senior Trainer at Sunrun, earning accolades such as the 2014 Circle of Excellence and 2016 Sales Trainer of the Year. Ben's career in solar energy began at REC Solar as a Senior Solar Energy Consultant, receiving the Consultant of the Year award in 2012 and also being recognized in the Circle of Excellence that same year. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Bargain Network as a Sales Trainer, where Ben was the Runner-Up Sales Rep of the Year in 2004.
