Daniel Peterpaul

Daniel Peterpaul is a driven and results-oriented executive with over 12 years of experience in information security. Currently serving as the VP of Information Security at Sunrun since 2025, Daniel leads efforts to protect critical infrastructure and customer data while fostering business agility. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Amazon, including Manager of Security Engineering, where they managed Identity and Access Management programs. Daniel has also shared their expertise as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida, teaching cybersecurity fundamentals. Their educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity from Seminole State College of Florida.
