Matt Brost is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in the energy industry and nearly 15 years in home building. They began their career as a junior analyst at RLW Analytics and advanced to Vice President of the Western Region, while also co-owning the Small Business Energy Alliance. Transitioning to the solar sector in 2006, Brost held various roles at SunPower, culminating in Sr. Director of Sales Americas for New Homes, where they contributed to significant solar installations. Currently, Brost serves as the VP of Sales, New Homes at Sunrun, continuing to advocate for sustainable energy solutions and decarbonization. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and Building Science from Sonoma State University.
