Matty Roberts

Matty Roberts is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Sunrun since 2018, Matty leads teams in the Data Integration & Grid Services domains. Prior to this role, Matty worked at Optiv Inc. from 2015 to 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on R&D Engineering and Managed Security Services, and supported the development of internal cyber threat intelligence applications. Matty also held a position as a Senior Web Development Engineer at Ping Identity from 2012 to 2015, where responsibilities included technical leadership in the development of a multi-tier web system. Matty's early career includes roles as a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Information Systems and a Multimedia Producer at Rocky Mountain News. Matty holds an MS in Information Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Computer and Information Sciences from Metropolitan State University of Denver, along with an AAS in Digital Art & Animation from Living Arts College.
