Nick Ball is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in indirect tax management. Currently serving as the Director of Indirect Tax at Sunrun since October 2020, Ball previously held the position of Sr. Manager in the same department. Prior to Sunrun, Ball worked as the Indirect Tax Manager at Vivint Solar from November 2014 to October 2020, and as an Indirect Tax Specialist at Rio Tinto from March 2007 to October 2014. Ball began a career in taxation as an Auditor III at the Utah State Tax Commission from May 2005 to March 2007. Nick Ball holds an MBA in Business and a BA in Accounting from Weber State University, completing the MBA in 2007 and the BA in 2005.
