Christopher Buay

Christopher Buay is the Senior Director and General Counsel for APAC at EDP Renewables, where they lead legal business development, M&A, governance, and corporate secretarial matters. Christopher has held various senior legal roles, including Director of Senior Counsel at Johnson Controls and Assoc. Director - Senior Litigation & Corporate Counsel at Tyco. They began their legal career as a pupil at Bird & Bird, progressing through various positions to become a Senior Associate. Christopher holds multiple degrees from the National University of Singapore, including an LL.B (Hons) in Graduate Law and a BA (Hons) in History, Political Science & European Studies.
