Nuno Marinho has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Nuno started their career as an intern at EDF R&D, where they worked on a Master's Thesis research project focused on local short-term uncertainties and their impact on the economics of distributed flexibilities. Nuno then became a researcher at CentraleSupélec and later at EDF R&D, specializing in power systems economics and optimization. Nuno also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at CentraleSupélec. In 2019, they joined EDP as a Project Manager at EDP NEW and later became the Head of RES Integration and Flexibility. Currently, Nuno holds the position of Head of Innovation and R&D at EDPR APAC.
Nuno Marinho completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical Engineering at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2009 to 2014. Nuno then pursued a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CentraleSupélec from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, in 2016, they attended an Executive Course to Master Electricity Markets at the Florence School of Regulation.
