Sunseed Desert Technology aims to develop, demonstrate and communicate accessible, low-tech methods of living sustainably in a semi arid environment.

Sunseed sits in a beautiful village in southern Spain. We take our relationship with the local and global environment seriously, using permaculture principles to develop, demonstrate and communicate sustainable ways of living while being good stewards of the land which we call home.

Volunteers from around the world come to work at Sunseed each year, working in all of our departments (Organic Gardens, Drylands, Appropriate Technologies, Eco-Maintenance and Office) and participate in all aspects of community life at Sunseed. Most thoroughly enjoy their stay and take home with them a better understanding of what a sustainable way of living is truly about.

Working volunteers, interns, European Solidarity Corps, assistants and and long term staff join our passionate international project. If you´d like to learn more about sustainability, meet some nice people and have a low impact good time, then come and join in!
