Joshua Johnson is the Senior Client Services Manager at Sunset Lighting. Joshua previously worked as a Test Laboratory/Product Design Intern at NEAPCO from June 2018 to August 2018, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from May 2018 to January 2020.

Joshua has experience in performing destructive testing and analysis on U-joints, basic metallurgy inspections on various heat treated components, and working with the design team involving various driveline components for ATV's and UTV's. Joshua also has experience in designing, building, and testing a monitoring system and interface for a field degassing unit, as well as routinely performing maintenance on the unit (leak-check, etc.). Additionally, Joshua has designed and built housings (and more) for specialty sensors, helped with the collection of samples for research, and created simplified user manuals and trained graduate students for using research equipment.

Currently, Joshua is working on designing and testing a prototype of a medical device for monitoring and controlling the environment of blood samples.

Joshua Johnson's educational career began with a pre-engineering program at Wayne State College. Joshua then transferred to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Joshua Johnson reports to Virginia Alvarez, Director, Client Services & Operations. Joshua Johnson works with Briana Hernandez - Client Services Manager I, Eugene Park - Client Services Manager III, and Meyaya Talley - Client Services Manager III.
