Sean Griffin

Sean Griffin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sean began their career as a Sales, Marketing, and Promotions Coordinator at New York Press from 2002 to 2004. Sean then worked at HarperCollins Publishers, starting as an Editorial Assistant from 2004 to 2006, and later becoming the Director of Finance from 2006 to 2010. During their tenure at HarperCollins, they played a key role in budgeting, financial management, publishing rights negotiations, and the launch of digital products.

After that, Sean worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 2011 to 2014, where they led various strategic projects and generated significant cost savings for clients in the oil & gas and tech distribution industries. Sean then joined The Walt Disney Company as a Sr. Manager, Strategy and Global Business Development from 2014 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Sean served as Head Of Business Development at THE VOID, a leading virtual reality entertainment company. Sean was responsible for developing strategic partnerships, securing licensing deals, and overseeing the company's revenue growth.

In 2019, Sean became the Chief Executive Officer of Nomadic, a virtual reality arcade games provider. Sean successfully turned around the struggling start-up, grew revenue, and executed important business development initiatives, including licensing deals and manufacturing partnerships. Sean also led fundraising efforts and closed a $2 million fundraise.

Currently, Sean is the SVP, Sales and Business Development at Sunset Studios, starting in 2023.

Sean Griffin's education history begins with their high school diploma from St. John's Prep, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Sean then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Philosophy at Boston College from 1998 to 2002. Following this, Sean attended The Wharton School from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
