Robert Thurman

Robert Thurman has a diverse work experience in the security industry. Robert started their career at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in 1999 as a Security Officer, where they were responsible for securing premises and monitoring CCTV cameras. Robert then worked as a Financial Administrator, processing billing invoices and accounts receivables. Robert later became a Financial Analyst, reporting and analyzing financial data for management. From 2005 to 2013, Robert served as the Region Controller at Securitas, managing financial controls and participating in strategic planning. Since 2013, they have held various roles at Sunstates Security, including Controller, Vice President of Finance, and currently Chief Financial Officer. In these positions, they have provided strategic recommendations, managed finance and accounting teams, and overseen financial forecasting and reporting.

Robert Thurman completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a minor in accounting from Sam Houston State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Robert'sfield of study for both degrees was Business Administration and Management, with a specific focus on finance for their bachelor's degree.
