Jun Tanaka

Jun Tanaka serves as the Secretary General at Osake-no-Kagaku Foundation since April 2020, focusing on enhancing the relationship between beverage alcohol and society through scientific research. With an extensive career at Suntory Holdings Limited since September 2005, Jun has held various roles including Global Public Affairs Officer and Chief Internal Auditor, managing significant internal audits and representing the industry at the Japan Spirits & Liquors Makers Association. Prior experience includes strategic planning at Suntory Limited's International Division and leadership roles in Pepsi Bottling Ventures and Suntory Water Group, demonstrating a solid background in corporate planning, operations, and management. Jun Tanaka holds a Diploma in Business Administration from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and has an educational background from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
