Marek Kiisa

Marek Kiisa has extensive experience working in the venture capital industry. Marek is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at NordicNinja VC since 2018, where they support European founders and invests in companies focused on climate tech, deep tech, and digital society. Marek has also served as a Member of the Board at Einride, Kognic, and Pactum AI, where they provide guidance and strategic input. Additionally, they have acted as an Investor at Bolt and Voi Technology. Prior to their current roles, Marek was involved with Superangel, BaltCap, Astrec Invest, and Astrec Baltic in various capacities including Co-Founder, Venture Partner, and Board Member.

Marek Kiisa obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Machine Design/Combustion Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1991 and 1995. From 2002 to 2004, they attended the Estonian Business School, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Marek Kiisa also attended the Tallinn English College from 1976 to 1987. Additionally, they obtained a certification as part of the Kauffman Fellow Class #19 from the Kauffman Fellows in 2014, although the specific month of attainment is not specified.
