Manuel Trancas has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Manuel started their career in 1996 as a Consultant at America Management Systems, where they led the implementation of payment interfaces and analyzed billing requirements for Vodafone Portugal and implemented GSM prepaid services for Vodafone Germany.
Manuel then worked as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading a team in Portugal for the rollout of business support systems at Jazztel and designing billing systems for voice and internet products.
At Amdocs, Manuel served as a System Architect, leading technical pre-sales efforts and leading the implementation of the Euro compliance project for a billing platform at Eircom in Ireland.
Manuel then moved on to Capgemini, where they worked as a Manager and Technology Consultant, managing the bad debt reduction program and implementing credit scoring and credit limits at Vodafone Portugal.
Manuel joined CSG as a Global Product Manager, where they led the launch of a new version of the Singl.eView product and conducted Product Advisory Boards with major customers.
Manuel pursued an MBA at the London Business School before joining Upstream Mobile Marketing as the Head of Pre-sales, where they grew the team and repositioned pre-sales as the link between sales and product management. Manuel also played a key role in securing marketing campaigns with over $130 million in generated revenue.
Manuel then moved on to Amplero, where they held multiple roles, including Global Pre-sales Director and Senior Director of Customer Success. Manuel pitched and demonstrated the Amplero platform to prospects globally, won new clients, and created reusable collateral. As the Senior Director of Customer Success, they managed client relationships and secured contract renewals while also driving the performance of Amplero's machine learning.
Most recently, Manuel joined SuperAnnotate as the Head of Customer Success in 2023.
Manuel Trancas holds a BSc in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra, which they obtained between 1988 and 1993. Manuel also completed an Executive MBA program at the London Business School from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Manuel has acquired various certifications, including: Dataiku ML Practitioner, Dataiku Core Designer, Dataiku Advanced Designer, Avoiding Common Pitfalls in Customer Success Management, Value Realization Best Practices for Customer Success Management, and Onboarding and Adoption Best Practices for Customer Success Management. The specific years of obtaining the latter certifications are not provided, except for the Dataiku certifications in 2020 and 2021.
