Sam Schwager

Co-Founder & CEO at SuperBill

Sam Schwager has a wealth of work experience. Sam began their career in 2015 as an Intern at Greenwell Energy Solutions, where they worked on preparing reports for senior management, working in field operations, shadowing executives, and participating in business strategy meetings. In 2016, they interned at Clean Line Energy Partners, where they performed intensive market research and prepared presentations on competitors and potential clients, assisted with strategies to establish long-term arrangements with clients, and developed/optimized Python scripts to process large datasets. In 2017, they were selected as one of 12 Stanford students to participate in the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP) as a Mayfield Fellow. During the second three-month segment of the program, they worked as a Product Management Intern at Synack, Inc. In 2018, they co-founded Ladle, Inc., where their primary responsibilities included developing the company's React web app and corresponding back end, meeting with restaurants to tailor the product to their needs, and formulating and executing business strategies. In 2019, they began working as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of SuperBill.

Sam Schwager attended The Kinkaid School from 1999 to 2014. Sam then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) with Distinction in Mathematical and Computational Science and minor in International Relations at Stanford University from 2014 to 2018. After graduating, they continued their studies at Stanford University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence in 2019. Sam is currently enrolled in the Z Fellows program.
