Heikki Verta

Heikki Verta has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Heikki started their career in 2001 as a Java programmer at Elan IT, where they worked until 2003. Heikki then joined Nokia in 2002 as a Research Engineer, focusing on distributed computing and mobile systems research. In 2007, they transitioned to Futuremark Corporation as a Software Architect, responsible for software architecture, project management, and Java code development. Heikki worked there until 2011 when they became a Senior Server Developer at Applifier. At Applifier, they worked on server development for two years until 2013 when they joined Supercell as a Senior Server Engineer. During their time at Supercell, they served as a Services Lead from 2016 to 2020, overseeing engineering efforts for analytics, tools, and player services. Currently, Heikki Verta holds the position of Game Tech Lead at Supercell, beginning in March 2020.

Heikki Verta completed their education between 1999 and 2004 at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they obtained a Master of Science (Technology) degree. Heikki'sfield of study focused on Computer and Information Science, Software Engineering, as well as Strategy and International Business.
