James Back

James Back has extensive work experience in the gaming industry, starting with Supercell in 2020. James worked as a Game Designer for Clash Royale and later transitioned to the role of Data Scientist.

Prior to Supercell, James worked at Sumo Digital Ltd as a Product Director from June 2019 to September 2020.

From July 2018 to May 2019, James served as the Director of Product at SEGA HARDlight, and from March 2017 to July 2018, they held the position of Live Operations Manager at the same company.

Before that, they worked at Exient as a Product Lead from March 2016 to March 2017 and as a Games Analyst from May 2014 to March 2016.

James also has experience outside the gaming industry, having worked as a Client & Asset Insight Manager at mhs homes from September 2013 to May 2014. Prior to that, they held the role of Business Analyst at Rosebery Housing Association from April 2010 to August 2013.

James began their career as an Assistant Language Teacher at Interac in April 2009, where they worked until March 2010.

James Back attended the University of Warwick from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics.
