Stephen Routledge

Stephen Routledge has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Stephen is currently working as a Game Lead at Supercell since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at King as a VP Product from April 2022 to June 2023.

Before joining King, Stephen was employed at Socialpoint, where they held two roles. Stephen first served as VP Product from January 2017 to July 2020, and later as VP Product & Head of Live Games from July 2020 to April 2022.

From June 2016 to January 2017, Stephen worked as Director of Product at NaturalMotion. Before NaturalMotion, they were a Product Lead at the same company from April 2013 to June 2016.

Earlier in their career, Stephen worked at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in various roles. Stephen was a Principal Designer from August 2012 to March 2013, a Senior Designer from February 2008 to August 2012, and a Designer from February 2005 to February 2008.

Stephen's earliest work experience was at Warthog Games, where they served as a Designer from August 2003 to February 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Programmer from March 2002 to August 2003, and as a Junior Programmer from August 2001 to March 2002.

Stephen Routledge attended Wirral Grammar School for Boys from 1991 to 1998. Stephen then went on to study at The University of York from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
