Josh Smallman

Josh Smallman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and architecture within the live-streaming and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as Chief Architect at SuperFile since February 2024, Josh previously held roles as Technical Advisor and SVP Engineering at NoCap from April 2021 to September 2023, where NoCap Live provided end-to-end live-stream experiences for notable artists. Prior to NoCap, Josh co-founded DashSpace and Hubbub.Live, focusing on collaborative social experiences using VR and web-based video. Earlier career highlights include serving as VP Engineering at Samba TV, where Josh enhanced TV-based streaming applications, and as Lead Software Engineer at Auditude, where an automated content-identification system was developed for tracking media airplay. Josh's career began with co-founding Wavetribe Productions and working at Dreamhost Webhosting. Academic credentials include a BS in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College, earned in 2003.
