Jonny Bauer

Jonny Bauer is a seasoned professional in brand strategy and transformation, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Fundamentalco since January 2024. Bauer also holds a position as a Board Member at Supergoop! and ALOHA, both since February 2019, and has been the Global Head of Brand Strategy and Transformation at Blackstone from June 2021 until January 2024, where a new brand and experience transformation practice was established across over 300 portfolio companies. Prior to these roles, Bauer was the Global Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Strategy at Droga5 from April 2008 to June 2021, and served as Group Strategy Director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty from February 2002 to February 2008, working with renowned brands such as Axe, Dyson, and Mercedes. Bauer began the career as a cultural strategist at a vison from February 1998 to February 2001, contributing to projects for major companies like Sony and Warner Bros. Educationally, Bauer earned a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology Sydney between 1994 and 1997.
