Roman Makarov

Roman Makarov, CFA, FCCA, currently serves as the Head of Internal Control at Super Group (SGHC) since June 2023. Prior to this role, Roman worked at EY from October 2011 to June 2023, where significant contributions were made as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets, focusing on telecommunication, technology, and media clients, and gaining extensive experience in PCAOB audit standards and SOX 404 requirements. Roman's earlier experience includes leading multi-location audits for large cap telecommunication clients in Moscow, alongside prior roles at Altador Consalt LLC and CRMM. Roman holds a Master of Science in Economics from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI), acquired between 2006 and 2011.
