Jane Hamilton

Jane Hamilton has worked in the design and experience field for over a decade. In 2021, they began working as Head of Design and Experience for Superhero and Senior Experience Designer for CommSec. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as Senior Experience Designer for blueegg. From 2017 to 2019, they were Senior UX/UI Designer and UX/UI Designer for The Friendly Agency, and also worked as a Freelance Digital Art Director for Bauer Media Australia. From 2014 to 2017, Jane worked as Senior Designer for News Corp, where their responsibilities included concept and campaign development, prestige advertorial design, custom publishing design, major branding campaigns, art directing photo shoots and short films, and producing digital artwork across News Corp's platforms. From 2012 to 2014, they freelanced for NewsLifeMedia, Content & Studios, working on food, lifestyle and their communities mastheads, digital and print marketing collateral, editorial and advertorial layouts, and executive presentations. From 2008 to 2012, Jane worked as Mid-Weight Designer and Print and Digital Designer for NewsLifeMedia, Content & Studios, creating advertisements and advertorials for SFI, attending briefings and presenting their work directly to clients, art-directing cookbooks, and composing briefs for stylists, overseeing photo shoots, and pre-pressing documents for print.

Jane Hamilton's education history includes a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies from Swinburne University of Technology (2020-2024), an Advanced Sketch Skills certification from Academy Xi (2018), a User Experience Design Immersive certification from General Assembly (2017), and an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from TAFE NSW (2005-2007).
