By 1960 the company had changed over to produce industrial gloves, specifically for steel mills, the welding trade, car manufacturing and its feeder plants. To enhance our competitiveness we opened a tannery, a spinning mill and a knitting operation. This vertical integration allowed us to tackle and solve problems more efficiently. Moreover, we became very competitive and a low-cost producer on many styles of gloves. Only a very few manufacturers worldwide are in this cost-effective league. We are continuing to develop new and unique safety gloves to add to our existing lineup of over 3500 styles of work gloves.
