Alex Kehr has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They started their career as an Editorial Intern at VeloNews, Competitor Group in 2011, where they pitched, wrote, and edited stories for both VeloNews.com and Velo Magazine. They also assisted with photo shoots.
In 2013, Alex joined Name.com as a Marketing Intern, and later became a Social Media Specialist and then a Senior Social Media Strategist. During their time at Name.com, they gained expertise in social media strategy and management.
In 2015, Alex founded their own venture called Wander, where they served as the Founder for a year before moving on. Following that, they joined LeadBoxer as a Global Growth Manager in 2016. At LeadBoxer, Alex defined and oversaw all marketing efforts, utilizing personalized user onboarding tactics, content marketing, data analysis, and unconventional marketing tactics.
In 2017, Alex became a Founder In Residence at Science, a strategic venture capital firm. They worked closely with Science's portfolio companies in developing innovative business strategies and driving growth.
Most recently, in 2020, Alex Kehr took on the role of CEO at Superlocal. Superlocal is a social map platform backed by notable investors such as General Catalyst, DCM, Slow Ventures, Science, and M13. As the CEO, Alex is responsible for leading the company and its overall operations.
Alex Kehr obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Advertising from the University of Colorado Boulder, attending from 2008 to 2013. In 2015, Alex completed the Core: Credential of Readiness program at Harvard Business School Online.
