Nathan Tu

Nathan Tu is a Senior Software Test Developer at the California State Lottery since June 2022, where responsibilities include synthesizing user data to enhance lottery products, performing usability testing, and fostering relationships with end users. Prior to this role, Nathan served as a Technical Lead at the California Franchise Tax Board from September 2020 to June 2022, advising product teams on usability and managing front-end development, as well as training UX professionals. Nathan also held the position of User Experience Designer, focusing on user interviews and design principles to improve FTB applications. Earlier experience includes an internship at VSP Global, where Nathan contributed to technical planning and testing in an Agile environment while automating test scripts. Nathan is an alumnus of California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
