Michael Watson

Michael Watson is an experienced technology leader with over two decades in various engineering and management roles within the IT and consumer electronics sectors. Currently serving as General Manager Field Application Engineering at Supermicro since 2009, Michael focuses on influencing customer technology decisions, managing relationships, and defining technical strategies across Enterprise, High Performance Computing, and Embedded Systems. Prior roles include Business Development Manager at Hewlett Packard, where Michael negotiated partnerships for internet services, and Program Manager at Marvell, where leadership facilitated the adoption of WiFi technology in gaming and mobile markets. Previous experience also includes positions at Broadcom and Intel Corporation, concentrating on applications engineering and design. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from SUNY New Paltz and further education from Clarkson University.
